Identity Design package
CHIRLA was founded in 1986 to advance the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees. We had the opportunity to work with CHIRLA on several projects, such as their annual Gala event.
CHIRLA'S annual gala is their biggest celebration and fundraiser of the year, bringing together hundreds of community and elected leaders, advocates, supporters, and organizations to recognize excellence in immigrant rights achievements.
Our responsibility was to create an identity design system that included digital and print elements. The main component of each themed gala design consisted of artwork and custom title design. Some years, we collaborated with artists. Other times, we had the opportunity to create a custom artwork based on the theme. My goal was to deliver an identity system that isn't only focused on aesthetics but is also functional, effective, and appropriate for the event.
